Meet Rhiannon & Dillon
A brother & sister duo delivering feel good British grub across North & East London. Rhiannon recently graduated from Leiths’s Cooking School and currently works as a chef. Dillon is a designer and keen cook.
Their dishes are inspired by their British heritage, being part Welsh and have family living in Cornwall. All their meals are cooked from scratch with fresh ingredients, using the same family recipes they used to cook at home.
(And yes, that is the same Dillon who now runs Heard Studio. This project in fact opened my eyes to Squarespace, and how it offers all the tools you need as a business owner, while also being flexible for designers to create bespoke attention-grabbing web design.)
The task
With weekly menu drops, Our House needed an online store to gather each weeks orders and an online destination for new customers to learn more about their story and background.
Our solution
A bold and fun aesthetic that communicates both nostalgia and modernity. Using a strong primary colour pallet, immersive food imagery and refined typography.
Put the weekly changing menu front and centre, while clearly outlining the ordering and delivery process.
Clear calls to action that make ordering intuitive for customers, driving an increase in sales.
Integrations with third parties such as Instagram and Google reviews to build trust and brand recognition with customers.
